Effects of School-Based Nutrition Education Intervention in Preschool Children and Their Teachers: An Experimental Study

Objective: This study aimed to examine the effects of healthy nutrition education on eating habits and anthropometric measurements preschool children nutritional knowledge levels their teachers. Material Methods: Sixty educated in a kindergarten Ankara 6 teachers were included this follow-up single-center study. Researchers applied separate questionnaires including ''Food Preference Image'' for 'Nutrition Knowledge Level Scale Adults' Comprehensive that had different contents was given Measurements pre-education, 1 (immediate post-intervention), 2 (one-month post-intervention) compared with Paired Samples t-test, Friedman test, Wilcoxon signed ranks McNemar test.
